DESIGNED FOR YOUR SPACE AND YOUR STORY
At NIXI Studio, I create bespoke ceramic and glass tableware tailored to specific spaces, concepts, and narratives.
Each piece is made by hand, carrying the subtle variation, warmth, and character that only a handcrafted process can offer.
My work is commissioned by restaurants, hotels, bars, companies, and private clients seeking custom tableware or special projects developed with care, intention, and a strong visual identity.
WHAT CAN WE CREATE?
I design and produce custom-made objects across a wide range of applications, including:
✦ Ceramic and glass plates of all types (tasting plates, dessert plates, shallow and deep forms)
✦ Cups, bowls, baking dishes, and trays
✦ Special projects and limited series developed exclusively for your concept
Each custom project is approached as an extension of your visual identity and culinary or spatial story — whether expressed through restraint and minimalism, or through material richness, texture, and strong character.
THE CUSTOM-MAKING PROCESS
1. Initial conversation
We begin by discussing your needs and intentions — whether you are looking for a full tableware set, a specific object or a small number of pieces for a particular purpose.
2. Concept development
There are two possible approaches:
✦ Developing a new design: I create a piece from the ground up — defining shape, texture, surface, and color palette together.
✦ Adapting existing designs: You select from existing forms, which are then adjusted to suit your space or dining concept (color, adding your logo).
3. Prototype and approval
For larger or more complex orders, a prototype is created to ensure the final result aligns fully with your expectations before production begins.
4. Production
Once the design is approved, the full series is produced by hand in the studio.
PRODUCTION TIMELINE — IMPORTANT NOTE
At NIXI Studio, each object is made through a slow, hands-on process. This includes: forming, drying, first firing, glazing, second firing and in some cases additional surface work.
For this reason, the production timeline typically ranges from 1 to 3 months, depending on the quantity and complexity of the project.
This timeframe ensures that every piece is durable, consistent, and made with the level of attention required for professional use.
