HANDS-ON EXPERIENCES WITH CLAY
At NIXI Studio, we host creative workshops focused on working with clay, offering a calm, tactile experience where participants step away from screens and into material, process, and making.
Workshops are designed for both individuals and groups, and can be adapted for team buildings, private events, or curated creative gatherings.

No prior experience is required — the focus is on exploration, process, and enjoyment.
TYPES OF WORKSHOPS
1. Working with clay — shaping your own object
Participants create their own ceramic piece from scratch. Depending on preference, this can include a cup, bowl, plate, baking dish, or another small object.
Under guided instruction, participants learn basic hand-building techniques and gain insight into the ceramic process. The workshop encourages experimentation while remaining accessible and relaxed.
Group size: 6–12 participants
2. Decorating pre-made ceramic pieces
For a faster-paced or more decoration-focused experience, participants work with pre-made ceramic forms (cups, plates, bowls etc.). Using underglaze colors, they paint patterns, illustrations, or graphic details onto the surface.
This option is ideal for larger groups who wish to focus on visual expression without engaging in shaping the object itself.
Group size: from 6 participants upwards
This format is well suited for larger groups, corporate team buildings, and events with up to 25–30 participants, depending on the setup.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
All finished pieces go through a slow firing process. For this reason, completed works are ready for collection or delivery approximately 2–3 weeks after the workshop. This ensures durability, quality, and a proper ceramic finish.
LOCATION & FLEXIBILITY
Workshops take place at NIXI Studio, located on a family homestead in a quiet hillside village, surrounded by nature and open landscape.
For corporate team buildings or special occasions, workshops can also be organized at your location, by prior arrangement. The format can be adapted to suit your group size, timeframe, and needs.
